From Mysore to Bangalore
Traveling in India I enjoy the trains, so when I get a chance this is how I get around. Being American I can easily get tickets within short notice, since there is a quota for foreign travellers.
To get the feel and pulse of the country traveling in a non air-conditioned compartment is the best, well, unless it is really, really hot! The sights and sounds especially for a photographer or a filmmaker can enrich your experience.
